THE FULLNESS OF CHRIST

THE INTRODUCTION

The Bible says, "And he (Christ) gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors, and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ" (Ephesus 4:11-13). Now, our lives are priceless because we possess the fullness of Christ in matters of our own redemption of life because Christ was made to be our Redeemer. Therefore, we should learn more about the fullness of Christ in being our Redeemer because we in being New Testament Christians are made to be redeemed in the image and after the likeness of Christ in matters of our own redemption of life. Remember: All Scriptures which are used in this article will be taken from the King James Version of the Bible.

THE REASONS FOR CHIRST'S FULLNESS

1. In being New Testament Christians, we possess the Fullness of Christ in a redeemed way because the Nature of God brought the Nature of Christ into being upon the earth so that sinful man could be redeemed. Paul said, "But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son (the Son would be the Incarnated Word upon the earth), made of a woman, made unto the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, God hath sent for the Spirit of his Son (Jesus) into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father" (Galatians 4:4-7).

2. In being new creatures in Christ, we possess the Fullness of Christ in a redeemed way because we have obeyed the gospel plan of salvation. Paul said, "Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness" (Romans 6:16-18).

THE REQUIREMENTS OF CHRIST'S FULLNESS

1. If we want to possess the Fullness of Christ, we must obey the gospel of Christ because it is the power of God unto salvation. Paul said, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it (the gospel) is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For there is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith" (Romans 1:16-17).

2. If we desire to possess the Fullness of Christ, we should follow the examples of Christ because He is the one that we must follow. Peter said, "For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth; Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him than judgeth righteously; Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sin, should live unto righteousness; but whose stripes ye were healed. For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls" (1 Peter 2:21-25).

THE BLESSINGS OF CHRIST'S FULLNESS

1. In heaven, we in being New Testament Christians will possess the Fullness of Christ because we will appear with Him in glory. Paul said, "When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory" (Colossians 3:4).

2. In heaven, we in being new creatures in Christ will possess the Fullness of Christ because we will have His New Name written upon us. Our Lord said, "Him that overcometh (the forces of evil) will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name" (Revelation 3:12).

THE CONCLUSION

THIS IS THE GREATNESS OF OUR OWN CREATION AND REDEMPTION OF LIFE

Our Lord said, "Ye do err not knowing the Scriptures nor the Power of God" (Matthew 22:29).

1. We in being New Testament Christians will become equal with those three Equal Persons who are called the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit in being our Creator, and who are made to be called the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit in being our Redeemer. This is true because in our Heavenly Home we will equally possess Their Own Spiritual Personage of life so that we will become Spiritual Persons who possess a Spiritual body, and an Eternal Soul, and Spirit in matters of our own individual nature of life. The Bible says, "And as we have borne the image of the earthy i. e. the earthy man who possesses a physical body, and an Eternal Soul, and Spirit. we shall also bear the image of the heavenly", i. e. the Spiritual Person who possesses a Spiritual Body, and an Eternal Soul, and Spirit (1 Corinthians 15:49).

2. We in being New Testament Christians will become equal with those three Equal Persons who are called the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit in being our Creator, and who are made to be called the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit in being our Redeemer. This is true because in our Heavenly Home we will equally possess Their Own Divine Powers of life so that we will become greater in power, rule, and authority than our Adversary, who is Satan, in reference to our own individual being of life. The Bible says, "If we suffer, we shall also reign (rule) with him (the Lord our God). If we deny him, he also will deny us" (2 Timothy 2:12). "He that overcometh (the forces of evil), and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations, And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shiver; even as I received of my Father" (Revelation 2:26-27). "And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light, and they (the Redeemed) shall reign (rule) for ever and ever", i. e, over the powers of Satan (Revelation 22:6).

3. We in being New Testament Christians will become equal with those three Equal Persons who are called the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit in being our Creator, and who are made to be called the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit in being our Redeemer. This is true because in our Heavenly Home we will equally possess Their Own Divine Nature of life so that we will become Divine Persons in matters of our own individual nature of life. The Bible says, "God has given unto us many exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust" (2 Peter 1:4). Our Lord said concerning the equality of our own being of life, "Ye are gods" i. e. equal gods - not ranked gods (John 10:34-35).

4. We in being New Testament Christians will become equal with those three Equal Persons who are called the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit in being our Creator, and who are made to be called the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit in being our Redeemer. This is true because in our Heavenly Home we will equally possess Their Own Divine Attributes of life so that it will be impossible for us to ever sin in reference to our own individual being of life. Our Lord said, "He that overcometh (the forces of evil), the same shall be clothed in white raiment (having his Divine Attributes Perfected) and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels" (Revelation 3:5).

5. We in being New Testament Christians will become
equal with those three Equal Persons who are called the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit in being our Creator, and who are made to be called the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit in being our Redeemer. This is true because in our Heavenly Home we will equally possess Their Own Immortality of life so that we will become Immortal Persons, i. e. Deathless Persons in matters of our own individual nature of life. The Bible says, "Who (those three Immortal Persons who created and redeemed our own divine nature of life) only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see; to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen" (2 Timothy 6:16). "To them (the New Testament Christians) who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory, and honour, and immortality, eternal life" (Romans 2:7).

Our Lord said, "Ye shall know the truth, and THE TRUTH shall make you FREE", i. e. of sin (John 8:32).
