THE THRONE OF GOD

THE INTRODUCTION

The Bible says, "Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith Lord: or what is the place of my rest? Hath not my hands made all these things?" (Acts 7:48-49). Now, the Throne of God symbolizes power, rule, and authority in matters of our own creation and redemption of life because we in being New Testament Christians possess a created and a redeemed nature of life which must be Divinely Ruled so that we can overcome the forces of evil. Therefore, we need to learn more about the Throne of God because we are ruled by the Divine Powers of God and the Divine Powers of Christ in matters of our own creation and redemption of life. Remember: All Scriptures which are used in this article will be taken from the King James Version of the Bible.

WHO ARE THE INHABITANTS OF THE THRONE

1. The Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit are the three Equal Persons who are are sitting upon the Throne of God in being our Creator because God in being the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit created our own body, Soul and Spirit free of sin when we were born in a physical way upon the earth. God said, "Let us (who are the Heavenly Persons that are called by the Divine Name of God) make man in our image, after our likeness. So God created man in his own image", i. e. of life. (Genesis 1:26-27). John said, "For there are three (Persons) that bear record in heaven the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit: and these three (Persons) are one", i. e. equal in power, rule and authority because They are equally make to be called by the Divine Name of God in matters of Their Own Individual Being of life (1 John 5:7). LEARN: THE ONE God of the Scriptures can be the Surname Name of more than one Heavenly Person, who would be called the Father in being our Creator, providing that those Heavenly Persons are EQUAL in power, rule, and authority in matters of Their Own Individual Being of life.

2. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are the three equal Persons who are made to sit upon the Throne of God in being our Redeemer because those three God-Persons, who were called the Father, the Word and the Holy Spirit in being our Creator, did equally make Themselves to work in the Surname of Christ in being called the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit so that They could become our Redeemer. This was why, "The Lord (God) said unto my Lord (Christ after He was raised from the grave), sit thou on my right hand, until I make the foes thy footstool. Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that the Lord God (who was the being of the Father and the Holy Spirit in heaven upon that occasion) hath made that same Jesus (who was Incarnated Word: the Son upon the earth), whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ" (Acts 2:34-36) So the, Jesus (who was made both Lord and Christ) did made the Father, Himself in being the Son, and the Holy Spirit to be the three Equal Persons who would be called by the Surname Name of Christ in matters of our own redemption of life. This was achieved when Jesus He said, "Go teach all nations, baptizing them (into Christ by baptizing them) in the name (which means by the authority) of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit" so that they can become a New Testament Christian by obeying the gospel of Christ (Matthew 28:18-20). LEARN: THE ONE Christ of the Scriptures can be the Surname Name of more than one Heavenly Person, who would be called the Son (Jesus) in being our Redeemer, providing that those Heavenly Persons are EQUAL in power, rule, and authority in matters of Their Own Individual Being of life.

THE SYMBOLISM OF THE THRONE

1. God has Spiritual Light because we are commanded to walk in the light. John said, "If we walk in the light, as he (God) is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin" (1 John 1:7).

2. God has Spiritual Powers because we are commanded to use the power of God to overcome the forces of evil. The Bible says, "Let not sin therefore reign (rule) in you mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lust thereof" (Romans 6:12). The gospel of Christ is the power which we have from God so that we can overcome the powers of sin. Paul said, "For I an not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it (the gospel) is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also the Greek" (Romans 1:16).

3. God has Spiritual Instructions which we are commanded to follow. Paul said, "According as his divine power hath given unto all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that called us to glory and virtue." 2 Peter 1:3 "All scripture is given by inspiration of God (God spoken), and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be prefect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works" (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE THRONE

1. The Throne of God is an Heavenly Throne because it is in heaven. The Bible says, "The Lord hath prepared his throne in the heaven; and his kingdom ruleth over all" (Psalms 103:19).

2. The Throne of God is an Eternal Throne because it can not be destroyed. The Psalmist said, "Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the scepter of thy kingdom is right scepter" (Psalms 45:6).

3. The Throne of God is a Holy Throne because it is not a part of this world. The Psalmist said, "God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness" (Psalms 47:8).

4. The Throne of God is a Righteous Throne because it reveals the way of righteousness. The Bible says, "Thy throne, of God, is for ever and ever: a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of thy kingdom" (Hebrews 1:8).

5. The Throne of God is a Gracious Throne because we can be forgiven of our sins. The Hebrew writer said, "For we have not a high priest who cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet with sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need" (Hebrews 4:15-16).

THE BLESSINGS OF THE THRONE

1. If we overcome the forces of evil, we can set upon the Throne of God in our Heavenly Home. John said, "To him that overcometh (the forces of evil) will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcome, and an set down with my Father in his throne" (Revelation 3:21).

2. If we overcome the powers of sin, we can rule eternally over the powers of Satan upon the Throne of God. Our Lord said, "And he that overcometh, (the powers of sin), and keepeth my words unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessel of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father" (Revelation 2:26-27).

THE CONCLUSION

THIS IS THE GREATNESS OF OUR OWN CREATION AND REDEMPTION OF LIFE

Our Lord said, "Ye do err not knowing the Scriptures nor the Power of God" (Matthew 22:29).

1. We in being New Testament Christians will become equal with those three Equal Persons who are called the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit in being our Creator, and who are made to be called the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit in being our Redeemer. This is true because in our Heavenly Home we will equally possess Their Own Spiritual Personage of life so that we will become Spiritual Persons who possess a Spiritual body, and an Eternal Soul, and Spirit in matters of our own individual nature of life. The Bible says, "And as we have borne the image of the earthy i. e. the earthy man who possesses a physical body, and an Eternal Soul, and Spirit. we shall also bear the image of the heavenly", i. e. the Spiritual Person who possesses a Spiritual Body, and an Eternal Soul, and Spirit (1 Corinthians 15:49).

2. We in being New Testament Christians will become equal with those three Equal Persons who are called the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit in being our Creator, and who are made to be called the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit in being our Redeemer. This is true because in our Heavenly Home we will equally possess Their Own Divine Powers of life so that we will become greater in power, rule, and authority than our Adversary, who is Satan, in reference to our own individual being of life. The Bible says, "If we suffer, we shall also reign (rule) with him (the Lord our God). If we deny him, he also will deny us" (2 Timothy 2:12). "He that overcometh (the forces of evil), and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations, And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shiver; even as I received of my Father" (Revelation 2:26-27). "And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light, and they (the Redeemed) shall reign (rule) for ever and ever", i. e, over the powers of Satan (Revelation 22:6).

3. We in being New Testament Christians will become equal with those three Equal Persons who are called the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit in being our Creator, and who are made to be called the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit in being our Redeemer. This is true because in our Heavenly Home we will equally possess Their Own Divine Nature of life so that we will become Divine Persons in matters of our own individual nature of life. The Bible says, "God has given unto us many exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust" (2 Peter 1:4). Our Lord said concerning the equality of our own being of life, "Ye are gods" i. e. equal gods - not ranked gods (John 10:34-35).

4. We in being New Testament Christians will become equal with those three Equal Persons who are called the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit in being our Creator, and who are made to be called the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit in being our Redeemer. This is true because in our Heavenly Home we will equally possess Their Own Divine Attributes of life so that it will be impossible for us to ever sin in reference to our own individual being of life. Our Lord said, "He that overcometh (the forces of evil), the same shall be clothed in white raiment (having his Divine Attributes Perfected) and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels" (Revelation 3:5).

5. We in being New Testament Christians will become
equal with those three Equal Persons who are called the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit in being our Creator, and who are made to be called the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit in being our Redeemer. This is true because in our Heavenly Home we will equally possess Their Own Immortality of life so that we will become Immortal Persons, i. e. Deathless Persons in matters of our own individual nature of life. The Bible says, "Who (those three Immortal Persons who created and redeemed our own divine nature of life) only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see; to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen" (2 Timothy 6:16). "To them (the New Testament Christians) who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory, and honour, and immortality, eternal life" (Romans 2:7).

Our Lord said, "Ye shall know the truth, and THE TRUTH shall make you FREE", i. e. of sin (John 8:32).
