THE INSPIRED WORD OF GOD

THE INTRODUCTION

Our Lord said,, "It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God" (Matthew 4:4). Paul said, "All scriptures is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works" (2 Timothy 3:16-17). Peters said, "Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Spirit" (2 Peter 1:20-21). John said, "I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth; Yea, saith the Spirit (the Holy Spirit), that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them" (Revelation 14:13). Now, the word of God is Divinely Inspired by God because all Scriptures have proceed out of His mouth by Divine Inspiritation. Therefore, we should learn more about the Divine Word of God so that we can obey the commandments of God because the Word of God can save us from Eternal Death. Remember: All Scriptures which are used in this article will be taken from the King James Version of the Bible.

THE REASONS FOR THE INSPIRED WORD OF GOD

I. Man doesn't have the authority to establish his own standard of righteousness because the Lord is his God. Man was created free of sin, but man has sinned against God. Therefore, man does not know what it would take to please the Lord his God without Divine Instructions. Jeremiah said, "O Lord, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man who walketh to direct his own steps" (Jeremiah 10:23).

2. God has the absolute authority to establish His own standard of righteousness for man. God is righteous because He has never sinned, and God will always be righteous because He will never sin. Therefore, God has the complete authority to reveal His righteousness unto man. Our Lord said, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts" (Isaiah 55:8-9).

THE NATURE OF THE INSPIRED WORD OF GOD

I. The word of God is truthful. What is truth? The word of God is truthful because it has proceeded out of the mouth of God, and it is impossible for God to lie. Our Lord said, "Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth" (John 17:17). Our Lord also said, "If you continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed: And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free", i. e. from sin (John 8:31-32).

2. The Word of God is powerful. In what way does the word of God reveal its power? The word of God is so powerful that it is referred to as being a probing instrument. The Bible says, "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart" (Hebrews 4:12).

3. The Word of God is as a fire. Why is the word of God illustrated as being as a fire? The Word of God is illustrated as being a fire because it can cause rebellious man to repentance of his sins. Our Lord asked, "Is not my word like as a fire? saith the Lord; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in piece?" ( Jeremiah 23:29)

4. The Word of God is eternal. Why is the word of God eternal? The word of God is eternal because it has been given unto us by an Eternal God. Therefore, the word of God will last unto the eternities of the eternities. Peter said, "Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever" (1 Peter 1:23).

5. The Word of God is authoritative. Why is the word of God authoritative? The word of God is authority because it would be impossible for a group of men to write a creed or a manuel of faith to please the Lord our God. Therefore, we can not write a creed or a manuel of faith to please the Lord our God because His Word is authoritative. Our Lord said, "He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day" (John 12:48).

THE MANDATE FOR THE INSPIRED WORD OF GOD

I. The word of God must be searched. Why should we study or search the Scriptures? We should search or study the Scriptures because they reveal the Deity of Jesus Christ. Our Lord said, "Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me" (John 5:39).

2. The word of God should be heard. Why should we hear the word of God? We must hear the word of God so that we can do the will of God. Our Lord said, "Therefore whosoever heareth these saying of mine, and doeth them, I will like him unto a wise man, who built his house upon a rock (Christ is the Rock of Ages): And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not because it was found upon a rock (How can we loose with Christ?) And every one that heareth these saying of mine, and doeth them not shall be likened unto a foolish man which build his house upon the sand (an unsure foundation). and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it", i. e. If we build our hopes upon the doctrines and creeds of men, we will have a great fall (Matthew 7:21-22).

3. The word of God must be believed. What evidence do we have which would cause us to believe the word of God? We have the recorded miracles which should cause us to believe in the authenticity of the Scriptures. John said, "And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: but these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life thought his name" (John 20:30-31).

4. The word of God should be obeyed. Why should we obey the word of God? We must obey the word of God because it is the will of God that we live by every word which He has given unto us. Our Lord said, "It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God" (Matthew 4:4).

A. In being New Testament Christians, we can not Scripturally added unto the word of God. Why can't we add unto the word of God? If we add unto the word of God or change any of the laws of God, the Lord our God will add unto us the plagues which which are written in His laws. John said, "For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, if any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book" (Revelation 22:18).

B. In being new creatures in Christ, we can not lawfully take from the word of God. Why can't we take from the word of God? If we add unto the world of God or alter any of the commandment of God, the Lord our God will not give unto us our Spiritual Inheritance which we could have in that world which is to come. John said, "And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book" (Revelation 22:19).

THE BLESSINGS OF GOD'S INSPIRED WORD

I. The word of God will produce faith. What causes us to believe in the existence of the living God? What motivates us believe the promises of God? The Word of God causes us to believe in the existence of God and in the promises of God. Paul said, "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17).

2. The word of God will give Spiritual Light. What causes us to walk in Spiritual Light instead of walking in Spiritual Darkness? The Word of God causes us to walk in Spiritual Light instead of Spiritual Darkness because the Spiritual Truth of God outshines the Spiritual Darkness of the world. The Psalmist said, "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path" (Psalms 119:105).

3. The word of God will convert our soul. What does it take to convert the soul of man? It take the pure unadulterated word of God to convert to soul of man? Peter said, "Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God which liveth and abideth forever" (1 Peter 1:22-23).

4. The word of God will instruct our soul. Should we use the word of God to discipline our lives in a Spiritual Way? We should use the word of God because it will completely correct our lives in every way. Paul said, "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God, may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works" (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

5. The word of God will edify our soul. Will the word of God really give us the encouragement which we need to overcome the hardships of this life? The word of God will really give us the encouragement which we need to overcome the hardship of this life because it will built us up in a Spiritual Way. Paul said, "I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified" (Acts 20:32).

6. The word of God will discipline our soul. Should we use sound doctrine to govern the way by which we live upon the earth? We must use sound teaching to direct our pathway upon the earth because it is easy to be deceived by false doctrines. Paul said, "I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables" (2 Timothy 4:1-4).

THE APPLICATION

1. If we want to understand the Divine Word of God in matters of our own creation and redemption of life, we must be willing to learn that the damnable heresies of the Religious World is what makes a Ranked Hierarchy to rule in Heaven and upon the earth because they are governed by the false doctrines of the Nicene Creed.

2. The New Testament Church of Christ must Scripturally teach that a Ranked Hierarchy can not rule in Heaven nor upon the earth because we can not be ruled by any human creed in matters of New Testament Christianity. For illustrating purposes.

THE DAMNABLE HERESIES OF A RANKED HIERARCHY

THE RELIGIOUS INSANITY OF THE DENOMINATIONAL WORLD

Our Lord said, "Ye do err not knowing the Scriptures nor the Power of God" (Matthew 22:29).

The Denominational World is still controlled by damnable heresies of the Nicene Creed because they simply make a Ranked Hierarchy to rule in Heaven and upon the earth. Now, there were many reasons why the Nicene Creed was written. For an example, during the Second Century, it became a practice to select one of the elders to preside over the meetings as a permanent president. This elder was called the "bishop" to distinguish him from the other elders. However, the terms "elders" and "bishops" refers to the same men in the Church. So then there is no distinction which is made among the elders in rank, power, rule, and authority. This distinction in name gave "the Bishop" greater authority and power in the Church. The authority of the Bishop was increased until each Bishop was assigned a definite territory over which he ruled. This territory was called a diocese because he could rule over ten different congregations. The Bishops increased their own religious authority until they became known as Patriarchs which means "Chief Fathers". They also increased their own territory to larger districts. In the beginning, there were only three Patriarchs: one at Rome, one at Alexandria, and one at Antioch. However, at a latter time, the Bishops of Jerusalem and Constantinople were made Patriarchs which made five in all. Therefore, the organization of this apostate church is that which led to the writing of the Nicene Creed.

There were many controversies within the apostate church over certain doctrines. For an example, there was "the Arian Controversy" which had to do with the doctrine of the Trinity, especially the relationship which exists between the Father and the Son. There was "the Appolinarian Controversy" which questioned the Nature of Christ, and there was "the Pelagian Controversy" which questioned the doctrines of sin and salvation. Now, in an effort to solve the problems which had resulted from "the Arian Controversy," Emperor Constantine called a council of the Bishops which met in Nicia at Bithnia in 325 A. D. It was attended by 318 Bishops and was presided over by the Emperor himself. Many creeds were introduced as a basis of compromise. However, the final resolution was adopted so that a formal statement of faith could be written. Those statements of faith are known as "the Nicene Creed". Therefore, these are some of the words of the Nicene Creed.

"I believe in one God; the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and in-visible; And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God; begotten of the Father before all worlds, God of God, Light of Lights, very God of very God, begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father, through whom all things were made; who for us men, and for our salvation came down from heaven, and was incarnated by the Holy Spirit of the Virgin Mary, and was made man, and was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate; he suffered and was buried, and the third day he rose again according to The Scriptures, and ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of the Father; and he shall come again with glory, to judge both the quick and the dead; whose kingdom shall have no end. And I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceedeth from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son together is worshipped and glorified, who spake by the prophets. And I believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church. I acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins. And I look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come".

The counsel adjourned about the middle of August. However, this creed finally made the apostate church and the Roman State to be united. Thus, in 606 A. D., the Emperor known as Boniface III became known as the "Universal Bishop of the church". Therefore, "the Pope" became the head of the church and the head of the State.

Our Lord said, "Ye shall know the truth, and THE TRUTH shall make you FREE", i. e. of sin (John 8:32).

THE CONCLUSION

THE RELIGIOUS INSANITY OF A RANKED HIERARCHY

Our Lord said, "Ye do err not knowing the Scriptures nor the Power of God" (Matthew 22:29).

The teachings of "The Nicene Creed" which is endorsed by the Denominational World is what makes a Ranked Hierarchy to rule in Heaven among those Heavenly Persons who created and redeemed our own body, Soul, and Spirit free of sin because that creed simply makes God, Christ, and the Holy Spirit to be the three Ranked Persons who created and redeemed our own divine nature of life. Nevertheless a Ranked Hierarchy can not Scripturally rule in Heaven among those Heavenly Persons who created and redeemed our own body, Soul, and Spirit free of sin because God is the Surname of three Equal Persons who are called the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit in being our Creator, and Christ was made to be the Surname of three Equal Persons who are called the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit in being our Redeemer. Therefore, we do not possess a created nature of life, and a redeemed nature of life which would be created and redeemed in the image and after the likeness of Ranked Persons in matters of our own creation and redemption of life, but we do possess a created nature of life, and a redeemed nature of life which was created and redeemed in the image and after the likeness of Equal Persons in matters of our own creation and redemption of life.

The teachings of "The Nicene Creed" which is approved by the Denominational World is what makes a Ranked Hierarchy to rule in a religious way upon the earth because that creed literally makes the Clergy and the Laity Class of persons to exist in their man-made churches. Nevertheless, we can not Scripturally make a Ranked Hierarchy to rule in the New Testament Church of Christ upon the earth because each congregation of the Lord's Church is autonomous (self-ruled) and under the leadership of its qualified elders or bishops. Therefore, we are not ruled by ranked persons (a Ranked Hierarchy) in matters of our own redemption of life, but we are rule by equal persons (elders or bishops) in matters of our own redemption of life.

Our Lord said, "Ye shall know the truth, and THE TRUTH shall make you FREE", i. e. of sin (John 8:32).

QUESTIONS

THE RELIGIOUS FOLLY OF MAKING A
RANKED HIERARCHY TO RULE IN HEAVEN

I. T - F: How can you Scripturally teach that a Ranked Hierarchy can rule in Heaven among those Heavenly Persons who created and redeemed your own body, Soul, and Spirit free of sin because God, Christ, and the Holy Spirit could not be the three Ranked Persons who created and redeemed your own divine nature of life?

2. T - F: Why can't you Scripturally teach that a Ranked Hierarchy can not rule in Heaven among those Heavenly Persons who created and redeemed your own body, Soul, and Spirit free of sin because God and Christ are the two Surnames in which three Equal Persons are made to work in matters of your own creation and redemption of life?

THE RELIGIOUS MADNESS OF MAKING A RANKED
HIERARCHY TO RULE IN THE LORD'S CHURCH

1. T - F: How can you Scripturally teach that a Ranked Hierarchy can rule in the Lord's Church upon the earth because the Scriptures forbids the Clergy and the Laity Class of persons to exist in religious matters?

2. T - F: Why can't you Scripturally teach that a Ranked Hierarchy can not rule in the Lord's Church upon the earth because each congregation of the Lord's Church is autonomous (self-ruled) and under the leadership of its qualified elders or bishops?

THE APPLICATION

THIS IS THE GREATNESS OF YOUR OWN CREATION AND REDEMPTION OF LIFE

T - F:  Since a Ranked Hierarchy can not Scripturally rule in Heaven among those Heavenly Persons who created and redeemed your own body, Soul, and Spirit free of sin, this greatly magnifies the whole being of your own creation and redemption of life because you are created and redeemed in the image and after the likeness of God and Christ who are the two Surnames in which three Equal Persons are made to work in matters of your own creation and redemption of life.

2. T - F: Since a Ranked Hierarchy can not Scripturally rule in the New Testament Church of Christ upon the earth, this highly amplifies the total sum of your own creation and redemption of life because you are equal with any created or redeemed person in matters of your own creation and redemption of life.
